h1b transfer approve，入职之前留在美国会out of status吗

我最近在换工作。h1b transfer网站上已经显示approve了，但是还没有收到hard copy. 上一个公司在8/14 terminate了我的h1b, 我还没有入职新公司。因为想要拿到hard copy, 然后回国一个月再入职新公司，所以得留在美国等到hard copy。我现在算out of status吗？还是可以算 grace period? adjustment of status? 担心如果是out of status，太久的话会有身份问题
